So I just got new wheels and tires put on today. Shop said I needed new upper control arms and tie rod ends so got those replaced as well. Car rides really smooth until about 55 mph and then the steering wheel gets a bad left to right shake in it. Could it be the tires are unbalanced? Thanks in advance- Alex

I always go for the Road Force balance which balances the tire and wheel, and then the tire and wheel with weight on it. Take it back, it might have thrown a wheel weight. Ask for Road Force balancing. It does make a big difference between just spin balancing.

Well these were ordered offline and were mounted and balanced then shipped but they do have the stick on weights on the inside of the wheel

If you got them from TireRack, they have authorized installers in most cities that can check them for you. If you got them from somewhere else, it would be best to call them and see what to do next.

Could have lost weight off in shipping I would contact the dealer and SE what they will do to help you and if nothing from them I would then go to a shop and have them re balanced.
