Steering wheel

I was wondering if the steering wheels from the 3rd gens work on our 2nd gens. Because mine has wear marks at the top and it grosses me out. Plus I hate how it looks like a steering wheel from a ford tarus.

I am sure they would the hardest thing might be is switching the plugs for all the controls. In a few weeks I might go to a junkyard and see if I can pick one up.

If your steering wheel does not have rips then Mr. Clean Magic Erase and some Aerospace 303 will make the wheel look brand new. Mine had black shit all over it, it was gross and I Magic Erased all the nastiness. Be careful with the Magic Erase though because you can go too deep.

yeah thoyght of that but I think the leather is shot on mine too because it all gooey at the top pretty disgusting.

I had the same problem and took it to an auto upholster who painted it using a special leather staining dust/spray. Matched it perfectly and looks great. Paid $30.

Well I found a black one. I am buying then I will get it painted to match my expy and buy a airbag. Those are expensive 200 at least.
