I agree with the others. Turn signal stalk. And the solder joints on back of odometer go bad. My 2000 does same thing. Nothing out of ordinary here. Pretty normal stuff for your year.

I agree. Can't tell you how many times my rear wiper went out on my 2000. Hell, right now it moves about four inches then returns to the resting position . Same with my OD reading, it works when it wants to which is about one third of the time. I haven't had problems with the front wipers yet. Coils do go bad over time and use. All unrelated.
