Wife bought a 2021 expedition max limited.... and there are no buttons to open sunshade that I can find.... any suggestions?
Went thru owners manual... it doesn't match the overhead console.... in the vehicle... and nothing else...
Did you buy from an authorized Ford dealer, car lot, or private individual? I ask because you should have the buttons but you don't. This means someone changed out the overhead control panel or a factory error. I doubt the error part. I would go back to where you purchased it and ask questions. If you cannot get results, you may be able to find the correct panel at a junk yard. You can always purchase from Ford, but it will probably be expensive.Wife bought a 2021 expedition max limited.... and there are no buttons to open sunshade that I can find.... any suggestions?
THIS!Wow - hopefully someone will chime in.
A little related - I bought a new 2015 Ford Expedition Limited 4x4.
The printed owner’s manual that came with it had numerous mistakes and errors, including several incorrect illustrations or pictures. I had never seen a new vehicle manual that was so full of errors.
Exactly what I am thinking..This has to be a bot or troll account.
Yep, based on those pics, something is definitely goofy there, your console that has the controls for the sunroof seems to be missing, was removed for some reason, or was never installed at the factory, or like was said previously, FoMoCo moved the controls to the tablet display on the dash...Here are pictures....
Wow!! This is weird. Gentleman we have a mystery. Here are pictures....
So are you saying that the factory could NOT have made a mistake ?Not a chance it left Kentucky Truck like that
Although I agree this particular case is a mystery, I would have to disagree with that other statement...Gentleman we have a mystery
The OP has not stated whether he purchased it from a Ford Dealership or from a private owner or independent lot.So are you saying that the factory could NOT have made a mistake ?
Hummmmm, that begs the question of why there are sooooo many recalls every year....Yes, alot of them are due to slack-assed engineering goofies, but others are due to incorrect or defective parts used in any given vehicle too...which I think qualifies as a "mistake" YES ?
