Kenne Bell is another one that owners of Ford modular engines like to use.

Well Freeway, you beat me to it.....sort of! lol.

Supercharger selection for the 1st and 2nd gen 2V expeditions is very limited. I believe you can still get a procharger centi blower or do a lightning conversion. Kenne bell and whipple have several blowers available if you already have the lightning supporting hardware.

Feel free to post links of available blowers for sale that work with the 2v mod motors but don't think you will find much. Many kits have long since been discontinued.

That's assuming you already have a complete lightning upper supercharger assembly plus heat exchanger. It is detailed on his site in the link you provided. When I did my setup I purchased all the misc items necessary to complete the swap through Mike @ maddenterprise.com. Great guy.

You will need to search ads and purchase a complete as possible lightning upper supercharger assembly. They are getting harder to come by. Expect to pay about $1,200 for a used set up depending on how complete it is then add to it the cost of items listed above. You may find it very difficult to purchase a set up minus the eaton blower and if someone was willing too, doubt very much they would take much off of the purchase price.

If you go this route it will take some time, money, research and patience to gather all the parts necessary. Or some Luck!! :)

Included photos of my upper supercharger assembly. Then I still needed most of the supporting hardware mike has listed.

Basically the kenne bell and whipples available for the lightning setup just replace the supercharger itself and intake plenum between the throttle body and supercharger.

so if I just walked up to a lightning and took the charger off set it aside and grabbed all the other things like throttle body intake mani and misc wires and hoses then bought the whipple bolt on would that work in a perfect theory?
