Hi guys. I have 2 questions: First, I'm at a fork in the road. Initially, I wanted to put a lift on my truck and enquired about 6 inch lift. Then the shop priced out $5000 for equipment and install which really too much for me. Then I started to browse thru internet pictures and came across some very nice low riders including some on this forum. My trucks a 4x4 and it would be a shame if i just made it into a street rider. What other cost effective solutions are the way to go if I wanted a suspension lift and not just a body lift? Second question: what problems would i notice if my torsion bar(s) needed replacing? I write this because i've noticed a clunk when my wheels are turning on an uphill road. I've already changed the conrol arm, tie rods, new front shocks, and numerous mechanics have said my front end is tight. (as you can probably tell, this is my first time owning a vehicle with a torsion bar and i dont know its befefits as opposed to a more tradiional suspension, coils...)
