i have noticed that when i am driving, my air ride will randomly start , even though i am going the same level (no incline or decline), and the left rear side will deflate almost automatically when the engine is turned off, putting the whole car at a tilt to the left (driver's side). the car eventually evens out, but that is after a few hours of the engine being turned off. and there are no lights on the dash indicating that there is a problem.

any advice on what could be causing this problem, and what could be the possible fix?

it is an '01 xlt model. i am the second owner. and it has only about 90,000 miles on it now.

hippo, sounds like one of your air control solenoids is starting to go and it is leaking severely. I am not all that up on the air ride system. So, without putting my hands on it, I am just using what I know and applying it. You can probably follow the air line back to the solenoid to help narrow down which solenoid is your problem child. After that, you may have a small pin hole leak in one of the bags. Not likely, but plausible.
