Is the way she chews up the front upper control arms.

This is why I need to fabricate my own for all four corners using uniballs and some heim for the steering.

I hear F150 specialty suspension parts may work... at least for 3rd gen, maybe here too

I've heard the same but apparently with slight modification.

I just don't know what year/model is the correct one to start with.

Also, if you see that little rust spot on the coil spring. Found out the hard way that, at least the 2nd Gen, doesn't have bumpstops. Full drop means taking a hit from the upper against the spring.

It doesn’t appear 2003 Controls arms are shared with anything. So you are correct in needing to modify. Be interesting to see what would need to be modified. Rough trial and error project since most aftermarket UCAs are $600+
www.1aauto.com does a pretty good job showing cross compatible parts and just shows 03 and 04 models.
