Hi everyone. just bought a 2000 eb 4x4 and was wondering if anybody could tell me some things to watch for repairs on it. You know things like belt tensioner breaks often or such. Thanks...

That's just a part of life in NW PA, NE OH.

Tight fit or not I am willing to bet that Texas doesn't have near the problem we have in our snow and salt region.

The reason I know this is because the same thing happens to a few other car lines such as hyundai.

I work for a used car dealer and Hyundai and Kias we have got from auction have the same problem. I have had to beat and heat rotor hubs. I have broken off pieces of rotors and even damage the wheel bearing because they were so rusted.

This past summer we got in a Hyundai trade from Texas, the rotors to no more than to smack with a hammer and they were off.

BTW, a very light coating of your favorite anti-sieze cures this problem for the next time around.

Additionally, change out the fuel filter - they're notorious for getting clogged and causing problems. Pretty cheap to do, filter's usually only cost 18 - 25 bucks.
