Well i installed it tonight, and it was pretty freakin easy to do. once the intake was out of the way it took about 5 minutes to add it on and put the extensions on to mount everything up.

That Whistle I was so worried about that people were complaining about is extremely minimal. I mean, it's there and i do hear it, but i was also driving with the windows down and the radio off. Besides Airaid said if you hear the whistle you know it's working. so that's good enough for me.

I drove around for about 20 minutes to see my mpg meter calculate and see if there was a difference. I came home and was averaging about 16.5 which is about 2 more than i normally get driving around town at a normal rate of speed. So we'll see if this keeps up, but if it does, I'm one happy man with this mod that cost me 40 bucks! :D

It was a great mod. I am now averaging about 15-16 mpg, and when i bought it the guy was getting about 10. Not to mention, that whole whistle sound....I think it sounds awesome and makes it give the engine a turbo sound or even a supercharger.

If you have the intake already or are looking to get one, pick up the spacer and slap it on. It's well worth it in my book.

So the spacer is just like a little round cylinder thing? 40 bucks? What brand? I don't plan on keeping my ex much longer but for 40 bucks it'll benifit me for selling.

How much city do you do? I average 12mpg and do mostly city. When I get on the highway I can do 18mpg or more sometimes. If I sit behind a big rig or something I can get it to 22mpg. Two cars back or so.

It is the airaid brand. I bought it from someone off of craigslist for 40 bucks, but they normally run about 80-90 regular price.

I have the Injen CAI and the spacer. I do mostly in city driving and i average about 15-16. I havent had the chance to take it on a long road trip yet, so i'm not sure what i will get on the highway during long distances.

It was a super easy install.

Nope, no custom tune. I installed both items and unplugges the negative battery terminal for an hour and let it idle for a good 20 min after installing both items.

I know i could get better performance from a custom tune, but that will come in time when i save up the money to buy the tuner so i can do it myself.

Hmm, same concept as the tornado thingy. It goes between the throttle body and the manifold or the throttle and the intake?
