I have just got a 2001 Expedition with a 5.4 and have been tinkering around with it and thinking about adding a throttle body spacer if it is beneficial. Has any one added one and what were their benefits? How had was it to install?
Thank You!

Save you money and use it toward a programmer like an edge.
Much more bang for the buck.

To put in nicely they are pointless in modern fuel injection engines. They have their use with carburetor engines (Carb spacers). Possibly even the older throttle body fuel injection but this does not carry over with modern multi port fuel injection.

Thanks for all your answers, I just decided to do the Gott's mod and cleaned the maf sensor, seems to have better throttle response, now hoping the mpg's shows back up.

I know it's a much older system but I put a spacer on my old 88 F150 5.8L. Seemed to make a difference at low rpm's and helped mileage a little bit.
