Asking for opinions on tires is about as productive as asking opinions on brand/type/weight /change interval of oil.
Agreed 100%.
+1 for Michelin, I don't think you can go wrong with any Michelin, even the ones they occasionally make exclusively for Sams Club or Costco type places. If you ever find yourself on I-35 between Dallas & OKC, there is a Michelin plant in Ardmore, OK that has daily tours. I've been about 4-5 times, its amazing if you like TV shows like How Its Made.
I'd recommend looking at Michelin-made BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A. Less off-roady than the Rugged Trail, priced decently, fantastic tread wear, a smooth quite ride. I've had a few sets over the years, recommended. Sams Club had a great deal on Michelin Lattitude? X-Green truck/SUV tires, put a set on my pick-up a few months back.
My Expedition has Goodyear Fierce street tires that would only leave you stuck offroad.
