I acquired a 97 expi xlt as my first car haha a bunch of my friends drive jeeps but i decided to take on the task of building the expi. im thinking about leveling it 3" in the front and 2" in the back and was wondering what tires those of you who have done similar are running under there.

You can Run 33" with 3" lift and 35" with 5" lift ( 3" body and 2" TT/Spacers)

Go big ...cause if you buy 33" you'll want 35" next year..:pepper:

Yup, I bought smaller tire's and regretted it. Had 35's on there in no time, and lost my shirt selling the almost brand new older tires.

Post up some pics of your Expedition.

Tires are just like flat screen televisions. I've never heard anyone say "I should have bought the smaller one".

I have 35's with no lift (2001 4x4). Had to trim the front flares a bit. But be warned, the rear diff/rear axel might have problems. I had to replace mine with the biggest baddest parts on the market.
