I am sure this has been asked a million times. I have a 2004 2wd XLT and I want to put some new tires on it. Will 285 70's fit on my stock 17 x 7.5's? Also, will they fit without a lift. I have found some leveling kits that just raise the front (not the truxx rear and front). I don't want huge, just bigger. I do a good bit of driving and figure this won't effect the gas mileage too much or the overall comfort and noise. Do I need to raise the front? I think I am going to go with Nitto Terra AT's. Any suggestions or feedback would be great.

-Thanks

Idk what a 285 is but I've heard that 2wd can fit a 31 inch tire stock 4wd can fit a 33 inch tire stock.

Be prepaired for some rubbing. The stock wheels may keep the tires too close up front and you will get some minor rubbing, not a big deal and only on sharp turn, I am also running 35"s so you may not have the same problem.
