SO my sister offered me a interesting proposal, She wants to buy my expedition but i said Im not selling it, but I would trade it for something else (full size jimmy/blazer, 2door Yukon,Tahoe or a bronco, possibly a pickup) That was in equally good shape, And she said she found a Nice bronco, I believe she said its a 92, could be wrong though, I'm thinking about doing it, cause she can get the bronco cheaper than she can a expedition, and I don't care what I drive as long as it can plow through some shit, plus broncos are frigging awesome

I wouldn't but it's what makes you happy. I think the Broncos are nice (as long as it's not the Bronco2) but you may not get all the great features like the Expedition? What year is you EX?

Depends on what you want to use it for. If you haul 3 or more people alot the expy's extra doors and room would be nice, but if you dont need that and you use it off road more the bronco has some advantages like shorter length, tight turning and more lift options at cheaper prices.

My expys a 2000, Ive always had a thing for broncos, my buddy lent me his Eddie Bauer edition one for like a week a ways back and I loved it, It drove a lot "harder" than a expedition, and didn't have all the creature comforts, But I liked it. I'm debating it still...I like them both, my only thing Is in the 8 months or so Ive owned my expedition Ive had 2 people in it once, So I don't really need the seating, I live alone so 2 doors is fine for me, plus that removable back is frigging awesome.

Honestly the reason i traded my other sister for it in the first place was because it needed a lot of tlc (plugs, brakes, front end, intake manifold), and she couldn't afford the gas, so I was nice and traded her for my car, Ive come to enjoy it, But It would be helping out my other sister if I traded, her pos minivan blew up, and like I said she knows someone who'll sell her a super nice bronco cheaper than she could buy a expedition (like $2000 as a favor to her) and a beat expedition is going for like 3500-4500 on craigslist with 200,000miles. Mine has all new front end, cleaned fuel injectors, new plugs, newish brakes, super nice 3way component speakers, and a touch screen DVD player, so there is no way she could come across my expy for 2k

I dont know...

If she is interested in an Expy that will definitely get her through the winters in your area, let me know. Nukie is for sale. For a 97 probably not the cheapest thing out there, but at the same time, not many are fixed up like Nukie either.

Thermo. Do you have any photos of your Expy available for viewing? Didnt see any albums and thought it would be nice to view if you plan to sell. Interior, exterior, mods and etc.. :)

I have seen photos when you posted in threads but not readily accessible.

So the other day I pulled the rear diff cover on my expedition to check out a weird noise/vibration i was getting. When I drained the oil i found it was full of gritty little metal shavings, upon further inspection I found the gears were chipped to shit, I figured the diff was probably shot along with the ring/pinion. So I said screw this and traded it for a 93 Chevy K1500, that wasn't the only reason I did it, my expedition needed a exhaust, 4 new tires and new brakes. i didn't really want to stick like $3500 more into it just to keep it going
Chevy has a newer crate engine, built up tranny, Decent rims, brand new 32" good year wrangler Mtr's, Stainless headers, brand new front end, and a 3" body lift, The wiring needs some Tlc (lots of crimp connectors), Im looking into swapping vortec heads/intake into it, or maybe a tpi setup I have a smashed up camaro sitting in my back yard with that

I already miss my expedition, pickup isn't half as nice, but like I said when i found the destroyed rear end I said Time to go. I think im going to buy another one maybe tax time next year, anyone have any ideas as to what happened to the rear end on mine, Ive only seen something like that happen when you dot install them right
