Transmission dipstick length

Wuold somone be kind enough to measure thier transmission dipstick. I have a 1999 navigator 5.4 4 valve with the 4r100 tranny with a missing dipstick and dipstick tube. I am making the tube out of braided hose. But I need to know the dipstick length. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got you.

Length from bottom of dipstick to flange where it seats in is 41". Length from bottom of dipstick to the top of "full when hot" mark is 1 5/8"
