Truck still shakes

It's been a few weeks already truck still shakes. I checked all vacuum hose. I checked for codes but nothing pops up. I'm getting a burning smell of gas on the exhaust. And sometimes the truck stops shaking and smoothes then goes back. When I accelerate it shakes more. I'm going crazy that I can't find the problem. Anyone can help me on where else to look? Can it be the EGR? Plz help. Thank you in advance.

Check you PCV valve. Those are a big contribution to noise and vibration that little elbow of plastic that’s worth 7 to 12 bucks does a lot. If not check your egr but if it’s not throwing a code for the egr then it’s probably that. Just replace the pcv valve.
And if that doesn’t fix it remove the egr replace it and also replace the egr pressure feedback sensor. It’s that thing with 2 hoses coming out the bottom of it and going to the exhaust.
But try the pcv valve first.

Do you have a good shop in your town that can do a little troubleshooting for you and maybe an idea of the problem and cost to repair it? This is where a smoke machine really comes in handy if you think it's a vacuum loss issue. Intake manifold gaskets are notorious on these motors.
