Okay, the stock tire size on the 2003 Expy is

265/70/17

I want to upgrade the tire, but keep the wheel.

(Why? I really don't have the money to get into the 24" wheels I'd like to get, but can't afford changing tires all the time.)

The equivalent tire size, but beefier tire would be

285/65/17

But Tirerack.com says no one makes that tire (at least, not the brands that tirerack sells.

So, does anyone know if that tire size exists. If not, what tire size did you change to when your factory tire finally wore out?

Cool. I've got 17s, so I need to find a tire that will work with a 17 inch wheel (don't really feel like purchasing new sets of wheels).
