I had mine replaced on my 2017 Expedition about 3 months ago at the Ford Dealer ship and I do believe it's leaking oil again. It started smoking when I was at a red light that's what is making me think it's the same thing again. Has anyone ever had this problem??

Never had valve cover gasket issues, did have vacuum pump seal replaced. It's behind the engine on the passenger side next to the firewall (and a pig to get to).
That smoked very similarly to a valve cover leak, but it was only noticeable after engine warmed up and while idling (like at a traffic stop).
Leaky turbo fittings will cause smoke too as the oil drips onto the exhaust.

I had the vacuum pump, gasket and fitting replaced on my 2015 Expedition Limited under its Ford ESP - as well as a leaking turbo fitting.
I have had both seals leak around the variable cam timing actuators. I replaced both actuators and the seal that came with the actuators did not seal properly. I purchased a set of Dorman seals and used some silicone sealer and got it to quit leaking. 2006 5.4.
I'm having the same issue and it killed my starter. I think the cause is that the valve covers may not have RTV at the joints where the head meets the front and back cover (wasn't me). I don't want to pull the valve covers, so I'm going to try a little RTV right at the joint on the outside of the head at the valve cover and see if that fixes it. Then I can replace my starter without worrying about it getting soaked in oil again.
