We have an 07 El. its my wifes dd and i don't drive it much, she has been telling me that when she takes off its almost like some thing it dragging or binding. it has happened at speed on the high way but more often in town when taking off from a stop light or stop sign. I rode with her one day and could her it. it sounds like maybe from the driver side fort when in the driver seat and when in the passanger seat its hard to tell. could be tranny or transfer case or driver front. I jacked up the driver side and roated tire to see if mabe a bearing was hangging up but couldn't feel anything dragging. any idea where else to look?

Do you think it could be coming from the rear differential. Accelerating and turning would be the triggers to cause the diff clutches to slip-stick and cause the sensation you are describing.

Drain and fill the rear diff and be sure to use friction modifier.

This only applies if you have the limited slip differential

When I did mine I used wal-mart 75w140 synth and trans x liimited slip additive from advance auto parts and it has been good for almost a year now

I found my problem and it was easy to over look, my control arms were broken. The rear arms were broken in a way that they still looked intact, until the truck was jacked up..
