Thinking about getting a bull bar for my Expy. Found a decent one on ebay. Are they fairly easy to install? Do I have to do any drilling or anything else??

I had to drill another hole for mine. Not a big deal. simple to do. Unless you have a body lift..

I have a grille guard, stainless steel and its great, over a year an no rust. best place is truckgearditect.com im not a big fan of bull bars though, grill guards give them a full feeling

btw i have the 4x4 version so i just unscrewed the front tow hooks and screwed in the grill guard in place with no problem. I know with the 4x2 you have to actually drill it into the frame, plus w bullbars, its a pain in the ass to adjust the license plate

I was going to say my tow hooks are still there with my brush guard. I do have a three inch body lift and it was a lot of fab to get it looking right.

I've had the bull bar (stainless) and the brush guard (black powdercoat). I also got them from http://truckgeardirect.com/. I looked everywhere and was pleased with their price and product. There are different brackets for 4x4 and 4x2 so you'll need to specify when you order. They also sell on e-bay, but I got a better price from their website. Easy installation (I don't have a lift) and you can re-install your tow hooks as was already mentioned. Just FYI, unless you get the heavy duty police push bar type they are really more form than function. My son bent the bull bar (and bumper) hitting a small tree while off roading, which was why I replaced it with the brush guard that some DB recently backed into while off roading. I had a little damage to the grille, but not to the brush guard. I'd buy either one again. Good luck.
