I bought 4 new tires from a local tire dealer. At 6,000 miles the tires look like brand new, but they are splitting down the center of the tread & they vibrate, because they are out of round.
The dealer called the Pegasus/distributor, they said mail tires to them & they will make decision if tires are bad? What a joke!
I guess I am stuck with these dangerous tires for now.
PLEASE, DO NOT BUY PEGASUS TIRES!!
If anyone has any good information how to resolve this problem, please PM me.

Really doesn't sound like you have a choice if you want to get the tires replaced. Although if your dealer was decent they'd replace the tires and take care of the issue afterwards.

How much cheaper could the Pegasus tires have been to make you decide to buy them?

I would just lick my wounds and get some decent rubber on the truck. I mean, even if they decide that the tires are defective and they replace them, do you really want to drive on another set of those things?

I finally gave up, tossed the Pegasus junk, bought 4 new Hankook Dynapro tires, 80mph, perfectly smooth.
I bought Hankook because I had them on my other truck, they lasted over 70,000 miles. and no vibration, a lesson learned.

Tire are the largest part of your vehicle keeping you alive, I never figured out why people skimped on them case and point this thread. What I will say is I've never had an issue with michelin period. Never a failure, blowout or seperation as discribed even on our haul trucks running over 200K lbs.
