Water spots UGH!
What I have found out about water spots will make you crazy trying to get rid of them.
I was told they are mineral deposits left when the water evaporates from your car's surface. I asked a local detailer where I get my cras detailed and he told and showed me his answer to washing a car and letting it dry without water spots. A 6 grand reverse osmosis water unit to rinse the cars off with after washing them.
To keep it spot free, wax your butt off, he uses Maguire's, (his preference), and then when it rains try to wipe it down, (damp towel it), to get the excess water off! The extra wax helps, I try to keep my cars waxed and clean and use a dust mop thats hand held to keep the dust off before I get around to giving it a bath. Go to Autogeek.org The Original California™ Duster for 24.99. If its dusty, just driving on local roads, forget when you have to go thru construction.
Just my own experience with trying to fend off water spots. My wife's car stays in the garage and only comes out on sunny days unless it has to. I found it cuts my work in half!
