Ok.

Replaced the front right tire, right side pull is gone.

All coil packs replaced. All plugs replaced. Intake gasket replaced. Getting better mileage. from about 10.5 to 13 now.

It had a TPS and system lean bank 2 but those could have been stored. The TPS makes sense I guess, since the RPM's hunt around a bit while in cruise control mode. Only by about 200-400 RPM's. The stumble on the highway is gone. I'm going to throw a $25 TPS at it and see where it takes me. My catalyst and evap system tests aren't complete yet but I'll keep an eye on it this week, if the system lean bank 2 code does come back, it will be in the next day or so. I beat on it on the way to work this morning, 80-90 mph the whole way. Super smooth ride.

You and everybody else in traffic; if Garden State combat driving conditions were typical.

You matched the passenger tire to the other three, yes? With 4wd this is important, tread wear has to be close as well.

They are mis matched right now. Its the 2WD select a drive system(2WD A4WD, 4HI, 4LO) , so no AWD for me.

Gotcha. I wish I could select 2WD. Maybe someday I'll do the brown wire mod.

I'm not a fan of A4WD, it just isn't an improvement on this truck.

You're gonna need to use the site search function or start a new thread to get an answer to that question.

It also occured to me, that bank 2 is on the drivers side of the engine... where the fuel filter.. AND fuel regulator are.... hrmm

fuel filter should be along the frame rail in front of the fuel tank You will need the special tool to remove filter can be had at a parts store

Fuel Pressure Regulator should be located just above the #7 spark plug

Ok, lean codes are gone. I am getting a TPS code now and getting 12.5 Mpg average.

What else could be causing this shit gas mileage?

I drive this very nicely to attempt to achieve good mileage. It has definitely averaged out at 12.5.

No codes come up, all DTC's are complete, which means its running correctly. Is the average MPG known to lie in these?

So far we have done:
Plugs
Coils
Intake Gaskets
TPS
PCV and PCV Hose (Stealership)
Air Filter
Cleaned MAF
Fixed other various vac leaks.

Maybe has something to due with stop and go NJ traffic. I use to live there and its gotten worse.

I tend to drive pretty aggressively with mine (not constantly but I'm not afraid to put the pedal to the floor when need be) when there is no traffic I average about 68mph for the majority and there are plenty of hills and turns to slow me down and cause me to have to get into the throttle even more.. several fillups and I'm looking at about 15 mpg as of now. but the lowest was 10.8 and highest was 17.5. helped a friend move on the 10mpg and drive 250 miles each way to/from GA on that 17.5 mpg fillup. My expy is a stock 4.6 with a 4r70w and 3.31 lsd.

Like I said, I just dog it every now and again and she seems happy.
next time you go for a drive check each wheel and make sure one isn't excessively hotter than the other. if so I would check that there isn't a caliper dragging.

as a summary, 12mpg is pretty low but not unheard of perhaps it'll bump up when your state switches to their sumer blend fuel. in my experience I gain 2 to 5 mpg depending on how each station has theirs mixed.

Also verify the computer statement by doing your own math on the next couple of fill-ups. Could be a problem for you in NJ because you aren't allowed to pump your own gas and the actual fill-up will vary from attendant to attendant, but it's a start.

Yes, the MPG computers have been known to lie.
