I got my Summit catalog yesterday and I see a bunch of different options for COPs. Though most say they are for the 4.6 Mustang, a couple list 2v 5.4L.

ACCEL was one of them. Under $200 for 8. Are these any good? If not, what brand is recommended?

The only question that I have is that the price of the high performance coils is roughly half of a stock replacement from Auto Zone, so... can they be all that great?

If you think about it, they only fire 1/8th as much as a standard distributor-type coil does. So they should last quite a bit longer.

Using that logic, I should only have to change my spark plugs half as often as a 4 cylinder, right? Ya see, these V8s are saving us money.
ha ha:rolleyes:
