Um I drove it? In a ton of snow. Michigan got nailed this weekend.

I didn’t do as much as u guys been doing lol, I just for the first time in a year or so finally engaged 4X4 low to get out of a sticky situation.
Had to go down an alley that had 18 or so inches of snow on it and no pervious tire marks so I knew I was gonna get stuck if I roll into it in 2WD. It struggled but did eventually pull me through it till the end but again it struggled lol my undercarriage was pretty much a plow at that point.

Replaced a leaking heater hose. Motorcraft KH-509. Cracked plastic connector spraying antifreeze on the passenger header - foul smell and steam. Replacement is longer than original, few hours after the install learned it also replaces a short extension off the firewall. Probably will remove that extension for a better fit.
Careful.
That one tends to put coolant in plug wells, killing your coils and creating misfires

Got my bumper mocked up and ready for welding (later this week) and pretty pumped at how it’s gonna look when the truck is done.

gave the interior a once over clean and ran through car wash, this winters been harsh.

I drove down to the north side of Indy for a lodge visit and back - put 220 miles on the truck on the way back we were running about 84 and I was getting 16 MPG. Came home Filled the tank, and took it to the car wash to get it all nice and clean. I no sooner pull in the driveway when the snow started falling. Now there is an inch of snow all over my nice clean truck.

Did my front/rear brake pads, rotors, front wheel bearings, IWE's, parking brake shoes and 4x4 hub solenoid.

Not exactly the right way but I feel like the front takes more wear than the rear so I'd imagine it should be fine. The correct way below
How difficult were there IWEs? I've been thinking about adding that to the list.

The IWE's were easy but I also had the wheels bearings out so I would imagine having those still installed would make it tougher. I also did have a friend(pic below) to help with the upper ball joint nut.

Cleaned out the back of the truck and rinsed out my driver's side liner to get the salt out of it.
