This is it this picture was taken 5 years ago.
It's still sitting in the same spot doesn't get driven. A year b4 he parked it he did a complete motor rebuild but due to his health he had to stop driving it and bought a new Kia. He's 68 and original owner.

Worked on my retrofit for the first time in months. I've been busy and just haven't had the time for it but they are Almost finished

Drove it into NYC and picked up a few pieces of commercial gym equipment. The guys I was buying it from kept saying it would never all fit in my truck, but it did. The EL is currently undefeated against any attempted cargo. Other challengers included a full-size, double-reclining sofa, a disassembled 8'x10' shed, 14 boxes of executive office chairs, and a trip to DQ with 5 large dogs and 1 medium-sized one.

Hehe I just had a feel good moment, I went to walmart to pick up some stuff my wife is been nagging me for and the very front spot right by the door is open but theres a bunch of packed snow on it and I eyed it for a second but before i can get to it a 2018 expedition attempted to park there and once one of the rear wheels lifted off the ground it couldn't move any further, I can tell the driver switched to 4x4 and tried again but still the fronts were spinning with no traction and so is the (off the ground) rear wheel, eventually he backed up and went to another spot,
While I was waiting for him I put my expy is 4x4 low and waited (I figured he wasnt gonna pull it off by the looks of it) once he backed away I pulled in and got all the way in the spot without a single hiccup, when I walked out the 18' expy driver (I think, not 100% sure) walked by and said "they just dont make them like they used to"
Felt good knowing my crap bucket still had good ol' aged and seasoned balls haha

So with all the trick settings on a new 18 expedition 4 by won't work as good as your beat 05 does? For $75,000 for a new one, you'd think they could pull stumps.

Can’t beat a marathon stroke V8 with low range gearing! Simple physics, more rotational mass makes for better low end 4x4 operation.
18’ likely has big rims and sport tires as well......and 4x4 Low isn’t available on them without certain option packages.

How is it? I purchased a Walker catback for my EL and there were broken pieces of metal stuck inside the exhaust. I contacted Walker and they told me I would have to pay to have it shipped to them, so they advised against utilizing the warranty and suggested I return it to Amazon instead. I did that and the replacement had the same problem. I ended up keeping my stock exhaust.

Walker has really turned to junk. Had two of their "stainless" pipes rot out in less than 18 months and two flex connectors break in a month. They wouldn't honor their warranties at all.
The problem is that replacement pipes for older cars are getting hard to find.

Is this normal for a GM transmission? No this is not a trans pan, yes it’s a pipe threader......using tranny fluid. Not sure why.

You sure it is full stainless???
Their website states only the muffler and tip are stainless. The tubing is not.
I’d like to do a stainless catback for less to rust and better looks but Ecoboosts sound like complete and utter crap so I’ll just pull the rear resonator and throw a tip on it like others.
As for what I did today. I popped in some LED puddle lights. Went the $10 eBay route as I figured I can swap them out 5 times over compared to the other models.

I did a full clean on the '17 windshield (cleaner, lacquer thinner, denatured alcohol, clay bar) and then installed PIAA Silicone wipers. I have the same wipers for the '06 as well, not sure it will be warm enough to give it a full clean next week when we head there for Christmas.
