Diamond plate metal sheeting, black powder coated, to replace my plastic trim? I can't find any pictures of anyone who's done it before...

the black diamond plated piece from what I am reading. not familiar with the gen2s to know where it goes exactly, but I am fairly sure.

Ohhhh if that's what he's talking about I think there is a company that makes a custom one u can paint.

I guess the term I was looking for was "side skirt?" (See pic). mine are currently painted black but faiding quick. I've been calling it side trim or
"that plastic trim" but I guess the official term is side skirt... I like the piece that sol found tho.

i think the diamond plate would take away from the look your heading for...

i always think as diamond plate as off road

No I didn't paint them. They came painted. I think originally they were grey. Now they're matt black and I like the look but need to do some upgrade because as i said at some spots they are starting to fade. Guess you're right about the diamond plating..just a thought...

Black... I think your trying to mix a little of street with a little bit of off road( which I think is cool because your going to be unique). I think you can always ask us for our opinions but in the end if you want to putt on diamond plating (or anything else for that matter) then put it on. We are here to help and support as you customize it but in the end its your expy not ours. Just some food for thought...

I tend to go opposite of the crowd and think it would look good but thats just my opinion
