I changed the plugs last week and I got a check engine light. Says egr line. I cant figure out where this goes. This is a 04 btw.

The tube above the one thats unplugged goes to a egr piece on the left side. The tube that is unplugged looks like it goes to the front end.

Not as familiar with the 2nd gens, but EGR's are metal since they recirculate hot exhaust gasses. That is a vacuum line of some kind. I am sure someone who is more familiar with these setups will post soon.

EDIT: I feel silly now, I see from the title you knew it was a vac line. Didn't read close enough. Maybe try and find it in a parts diagram? Most of the diagrams are available through online parts houses.

I'm guessing you don't have any warm air from your A/C system now either...
Take a look around the inboard side of that PCM box in the photo and look at the hot water valve. You'll see where your vacuum tube plugs into. This is a very common disconnect when doing plug changes on these motors.

Here's where you should see the hot water valve....

That piece is still plugged in. It comes undone easy. I cant see anything near it that would plug into it. At first I thought it was a vent for something.

Found that the vac line that is in the same wire loom as the one that is unplugged goes to the solenoid for the differential.

I looked for 15 mins there isnt anything close to it. Where does this go???

Could it just be a vent tube? That line does go down towards the wheel. If it is a vent what else would cause a code p1405?

Well I went to check the dpfe sensor with a voltmeter and a hose to check the volts. One of the hoses was rotted in half so I think that will clear the check engine code since it was for the dpfe sensor. No idea what that line is for though.
