Alright all, I have a 2011 kr expy el 4x4, it has factory nav so I got the bypass for mobile DVD. I have also done the tires, gotts mod with kn filter, husky mats, tint, remote start alarm and the bug shield. I want your opinion, what next the 3/2 lift or the programmer. I will get both eventually but I have the extra money right now for one or the other. What would you do.

I would do the tuner first. It will pay for itself in fuel costs, and improve the overall driveability of the truck for sure. Also if you park in parking garages for work, etc. the lift may cause you problems in that regard. I know my truck is pretty tight in most parking garages around here, and I am sitting stock.

+1 for tuner...AND...you'll need it when you put the bigger tires on...so you'll be able to calibrate immediately when you put them on

reply back with which tuner you get. I am running the superchips cortex right now (on a 2011 2wd) and am content with it - but I wanted more. I have not attempted the Gotts mod yet - but go ahead and try it on this one. I probably have not messed with my tuner enough yet-but it did improve the shifting some, have not noticed a large "hole shot" increase though. I am running the performance tune currently. mileage has stayed pretty much consistent - but I am not gentle on the pedal.

I will let you know, haven't decided yet on which programmer. I already have a set of BFG all terrain 285/55 r20 on the truck that are brand new so no tire changes for a while. The shifting is what I want the most, the extra hp is just a bonus, not sure if my tires are taller than stock if so I also want to calibrate for that.

...wish I could same the same, but on my 03 EB 5.4L, the cortex did not increase hwy mileage on either the XM or 87 program; stock gets better by 2MPG, go figure!

I love the SCT tuner I have, lets me control shift points, shift hardness, ignition timing curve, idle, speedometer- all kinds of crap. I'm sure they all do that nowadays. It's a must have for sure.
