I am submitting pic 1 and pic 2 for any info you can give. Pic 1 was found under hood tucked beside my brake fluid. Pic 2 was found by driver side front tire where the fog light is located. Please help!

FYI, the plug I'm holding in pic 2 was found just hanging by the fog light and not plugged into anything, just hanging there. It is not for the fog light itself from what I can see...

I believe pic 1 is the harness used for the recall on the cruise control wiring. It should have an inline fuse if I am correct.

I'll check later this afternoon! First guess is block heater then maybe electronic fans do you have OEM fogs and the HD tow package?

Hmm the cruise control harness should be plugged into something if it was that but that's a more likely possibly

Tactical the one in engine bay has wires leading out to a couple different places with an inline fuse. Doesn't appear to have a plug that plugs into anything

And a couple wires are going to the plug right by the brake fluid, as you can see in the picture

the cruise control recall was due to the membrane failing in the master cylinder and causing fires, thus the fused plug-in.

I believe the problem with the cruise control was that the wires remained hot at all times, even when the ignition was off. A leaky master cylinder or a sloppy brake fluid top-off would then leak the fluid on the hot wires, and :flamingdevil:

In my opinion I believe it is connector C141 that goes to the left crash sensor but that is just looking at the electrical schematic for the 1999 my connector is a round 2 prong but ford may of changed to the style you have found in picture 2
