I been using Valvoline Maxlife- it cured my oil consumption problem. Besides that I'm an Amsoil fanatic.... M1 isn't bad either. Amsoil locally is unaffordable- they charge $14 a quart!!!! WTF

Rotella 10-30. If it is good enough for an 18 wheeler to run, I think my expy will be fine. At $13 a gallon it is a steal.

Valvoline or Motorcraft 5w-20. Semisynthetic blend.

Barely burns oil btw.

Castrol Edge Titanium, but usually whatever is cheaper (fully synthetic 5w-20).

Canadian Tire Motomaster OEM Plus Euro. LX 0W-30. Truck LOVES it. Runs quiet, smooth. This is same as Shell Helix Ultra ECT C2/C3. Same as Pennzoil Platinum Plus Euro LX and same as Quaker State UD 0W-30. Arguably the very best oil Shell currently makes. Blended in Germany and Canada. Try it. Engine sounds and just feels better than any of my stints on a 5W-20. I highly recommend a 30 weight (or maybe 40) oil. It just sounds like the oil pressure is closer to what the engineering intended vs a lighter stock. I'm going for a 7500Mi/10KKm interval. Using Motocraft filters but may change to Fram Ultra.

I run Motorcraft 5w30 blend with either a Motorcraft or Wix filter on my 3v - seems to do just fine.
