Funny you mention this. I’m about to debadge my truck. Different tastes I guess.

I always enjoy badges. The door badges were only a 2007 & 2008 Model Year thing. Thought about removing them but I think I like the badge look better than without.

When I restore vintage bikes, I hand a long-haired brush and paint to Kerry and she lays it nicely for me.....these are infills like your badges...

Probably can find knock-offs on ebay or wish but can count on them not lasting more than a couple years.

There was a seller on ebay that I bought vinyl inlays from a few years back. He sold them in a variety of colors and finishes, had the same exact font and size making for a perfect fit. 3M or Scotch vinyl, you know the "good for 10 years" stuff that fails between year 2 and 3. Suppose anybody with a scanner and a plotter could produce something.

Well I went Brian’s route and used a sharpie paint marker..... up close you can see some imperfections but from afar it looks good. Now to see how well it holds up.

I've used the drug store selection of Fingernail polish for years on my vintage bikes. Kawasaki Candy paints have been out of existence for 35 years but those wild teen colors.....there's always a match!
