Wheel Bearings

So about two weeks or so back I started hearing a humming noise in the front end that sounded like wheel bearings. Would get louder when going faster, and stop when I stopped, and get quieter when i turned. Dealing with this issue before, I am very familiar with the sound. I ordered the parts and they arrived last night to install this weekend.

Here's the weird part, driving to work today, it was quiet as ever... anyone ever deal with this?

2wd or 4wd? I did both sides on mine(4wd) and it was a pain. Get a bfh and plenty of crowbars. The rust is the biggest issue. The hub actually rusts to the knuckle and is a pia to get off. Good luck1 keep us posted.

Kind og sounds like wheels bearings.
I believe 4 wheel drives have the cartridge bearing units. Can be a PITA to press out of the housing.

Heard many a horror story, so glad my 1st Gen never needed them.
