Well, I'm about to slap the new steering knuckle on and reattach the suspension components, but I checked the FSM for torque settings and realized that it recommends I replace the hub oring if reusing the original bearing/hub assembly. The Ford dealer and local parts shops don't have it in stock, but can order it.

If the original wheel hub oring appears to be undamaged can I get away with reusing it?

Bain64, I was replacing the front hub assembly on my 2004 , and during the install, I noticed the new o ring on the MOOG hub was broken!!! Not wanting to go back to shop, I checked the one I removed (original) , and thankfully, the o ring was intact. I used it and had no issues whatsoever. As Long as it fits in the groove the satisfactorily, you should be all set- regards

Thanks tibwd, I reused it. Only 10 miles so far, but everything seems ok.
