Static electricity is caused by an arc or spark in your switch. Maybe some dust or dirt in the contacts. Time for a cleaning? Simplest to try to blow it out using compressed air. If that doesn't work, try to disassemble and clean with electrical contact cleaner. Or a new switch?
I would check your grounds. Typically when electronics are affected by other electrical components it turns out to be a bad ground causing the interference
