I am looking for the reverse wire at the front of the vehicle under the dash or kick panel...

I HAVE A GEN 2, 2003 REGULAR XLT

Anybody know where the reverse wire is?

Exactly where is it?

Heard it is black with pink stripe...

None of the threads here actually say where it is.

I am not hacking the reverse light's wire at the back of the vehicle either.

There is a connector behind the Right side kick panel that you are looking for. Send me your e-mail address in a private message and I will send you the information you need

Its a 14 pin connector C211 which should be a white connector
Depending on it being a early or late production the wires would be Late BK/PK or Early VT/WH

I removed the passenger side kick panel and the sill. There is a metal plate just under the sill with 2 screws that I removed and just underneath that is a LARGE bundle of wires about 1.5" in diameter. I had to pull the wires apart a little bit to get to the black/pink wire towards the bottom of the bundle. I hope that helps.

I pulled the driver side rear light, pulled the rubber boot out and tapped into the black/hot pink wire inside the vehicle.

Installed a rear camera.
