Hi - the courtesy light bulb in my 2004 EB has melted the fitting. This is the light in the wing mirror that shines on the ground when you remote open the car. I have managed to remove the bulb but the fitting is not usable and is obviously hard wired onto the end of the wire. The housing for the fitting is fine. just need to cut the old one off the wire and reattach a new one if I can find one.

I live in the UK so cannot visit a local Ford dealer (we don't have Expedition) so can anyone help me source the fitting?
thanks
Mike

Post a pic of the plug showing the bulb socket. I have a few catalogs that I can search through.

I think it's a 194/921 connector on mine. But then again, I remember someone else with a second gen had a different set up in there.

its 194...i think i remeber seeing some on ebay...the few i saw would require you splicing them in...ford dealearship will tell you that you'll need to buy an entire mirror assembly...my turn signal socket is bent in mine...so i'm searching on ebay for a new rt mirror...about $100
