On the tire is says 35psi, but they came with 42 psi in them and I have heard other people using a tire pressure in the low 40's. What tire pressure gives the best handling?

I've been told to never exceed the max psi that is stamped on the sidewall. Heat from the road raises air pressure and could cause a blowout if tire is over inflated. I think my 18"'s call for 44#'s and I run 40#'s. If you over inflate the center of the tire will wear quicker, too low of pressure and the outer edges will wear out first.

Please don't overinflate your tires - you're setting yourself up for a wreck. I've never had a vehicle that was delivered with the correct air pressure - ever. I suspect maybe they get overpressured during the mounting process in an attempt to get the bead to seal well.

Go with what is shown on the door post sticker.
