Just managed a highway run @ 20.5-21.5 mpg --- UPHILL

Cruise control 69mph

Didnt drop much in the city @ 35mph either

...although stop signs in a 25mph hilly area finally knocked it down to 19.4

Anybody else got good speedometer sweet spots to CC?

Also - strange observation - holding~1900 rpm is giving A SHITTON more mpg than the usual 1200-1500

good deal.
have you done the miles driven divided by gallons burned for the actual number as it may be more.
my "lie-o-meter" is sometimes conservative, thus a true surprise indeed.

I swore my sweet spot was 61/62 on hwy and was getting about 21/22mph in my 08' Limited.
I recently bought a '14 Limited EL and havent had enough time to find the sweet spot but have a 3 hour trek tomorrow that should be able to give me a better idea. Will play with a few more speeds including the 69mph.

I took mine on a trip to Toledo about an hour and a half each way of highway driving. My actual fuel usage was 14.63 MPG the computer said I was averaging 15.4 MPG. I was doing 72 MPH in the 65 MPH zones and 77 MPH in the 70 MPH zones. I only have a little over 700 miles on it now so I'm sure the engine is still tight.

Just ran a few hours in my 5.4 '14 EL Limited and tried a few different speeds. 69mph was getting around 17/18 but my sweet spot was still about 61/62mph getting 21/22mpg.

I dont mind just coasting in the slow lane... keeps me from wanting to run people off the road ;)

If it's for 1-2 mpg, I can't be bothered.... but for a 1.5x increase in fuel efficiency on highway runs, I'm quite willing to cruise control an odd number a few mph lower than I usually drive

My 07 Limited with he 3.31 rear end does great when taking a drive to the keys. Most of the trip is between 55-60, with few traffic lights. Computer showed 23.4mpg as my best average. However, I didn't do the math myself to check the accuracy.
