will the 97 front bumper fit on a 2002

so being that i screwed up my front bumper on my 2002 I was considering to put the front bumper from a 1997 expedition on mine. will it just bolt right up or no? I ask because i see on lmc trucks page their is a extra set of brackets for the 99-02 model expedition that the 97-98 does not have.

The bumpers are slightly different the newer models have a dip in them for the grill. The older ones are flat by the grill.

so in other words change the grille and it will fit fine then? I'm in a bad spot right now lol thinking about ordering these parts but I'm also thinking about buying a 94 Z/28 Camaro as a summer car lol

I installed a 99 F150 bumper and grill surround on my 97 expy, bolted right up, the frame brackets that are welded to the frame are the same. The only difference other than the grill dip into the bumper is the bumper brackets that are bolted to the bumper. It will fit but you need the grill surround too.
