Wireless receiver problems

I have a 2006 KR Expedition 4WD and recently the key fob began to intermittently work. Now has stopped working. Door keypad works and batteries have been changed in fob. Neither Fob works now. Think it may be receiver but not sure. 123k miles. Love my truck. Thx for any help.

may need to be programmed again since the battery died...idk...

Thanks,I will try it and report back. BTW where is the receiver in the car for the key fobs?
