That is what makes it safe!

The Ford aluminum bodies are just as safe as steel bodies for sure. However they are at a disadvantage to steel vehicles in minor accidents as demonstrated by IIHS testing (Low speed crashes).

Depends of the footprint of your jack wheels. I put down a small sheet of plywood. I absolutely love the floor and would highly recommend it. Ribtrax by Swisstrax. Installed myself. Living in ND its amazing how well it drains snow and leaves a clean dry surface.IMG_1504.JPG IMG_1501.JPG
