Basic question, as I've never had a car with an alarm before, let alone a fancy trip computer etc. Can I just remove the battery like I would on a regular, no frills, car or do I need to do anything beforehand? 2010 XLT 5.4.

Thanks :)

With all the crazy electrical razzle dazzel it may be better to get one of the attachments for the cig lighter that powers the system with a 9 volt battery. That way you don't lose any programing.
