I have an 04' 4x4. I want to do a cheaper 3in lift, a 20x12 wheel with 33/12.50/20 Nitto Trail Grappler tire... will it work with minimal rubbing if any? please only give me 1st hand experience... not opinions. Thanks guys!

Prior to my Rize lift, I was on a Truxx 3/2 lift running 33s/20s also with the terra grapplers...
No rubbings experienced on my end..

Hey mindgame, you got any pics of your old set up, that's exactly what I was leaning towards but I haven't found any good pics of said setup?

I am running the 3/2 lift running 315 70 17 BFG All Terrains on my stock wheels. No rubbing and it looks great. This is on my 2004

Oppss.. My oversite.. Even with the 9", I do not anticipate issues going with 12.5. I'll soon have 35x13x20Rs soon :)

I know with a 12in wide wheel its gonna be a deep dish but I know nothing about the "back spacing" they talk about... how do I know what wheel spacing to go with? any ideas?

Re: 04' lift & wheels question

I am wondering why you want to go with a 12" wide wheel in the first place?

@sgtowing because it looks great, google some pics, with a 33/12.50/r20 nitto trail grappler stretched on the wheel just looks so much better than a 10in wheel... just my opinion.

@ExpoJo I have seen it in person and I have to disagree with you. I personally do not like the look of a streched tire on a rim but that is me. If you like like it, go for it.
