This is it when I first got it.
From the junkyard i got the following:
Leather 2nd row seats
Leather 3rd row seats
2 door panels
2 rear window acutator assemblies with speakers
Replaced the stock radio with android dvd/cd/navigation
Total of about 850.00
I still need to deal with 2 problems:
The starter or flywheel issue
Shudders between 40 and 50 miles/hr
So far replaced the fpdm but issue still there.
I have been reading about it.
Otherwise it drives nice and smooth.
I'll post more pics once it's all cleaned up.

FYI...This is my first post.

First truck, 4th Ford vehicle. 99 taurus (wife wrecked), 04 taurus (traded) 13 Fusion (just purchased)

2003 Expy XLT 5.4L. 172,*** on the odometer. Paid $4500 for it just last week. No mech issues, runs good shifts smooth, interior is immaculate. 3rd row seats were never used.

Few minor issues: Just replaced the shaky ass rearview mirror GNTX-187 (I found 5 at the local LKQ for 4 bucks a piece). Power Pedals don't move just makes clicking sound. Power driver seat wont move front to back, just makes clicking sound also. Fist sized rust hole in driver side rocker panel looks like it was painted over. Driver side door ajar switch need to be replaced.

A bit underpowered for a big V8 but seems to be a good truck overall...Hope I get at least 4 to 5 years out of it.

Interior looks amazing.

x2. Your seats look like new. Amazing for a 12yr old truck. My 2004 was only 7 yrs old when I bought it in 2011 and the middle row seat cushions were (and still are) all cracked.
Cheap vinyl advertised as "leather seats". Plus the old owner had baby cars seats on there all the time, and I guess that contributed to the damage as well.

I just got my 2001 Ford expedition it was a sheriffs rig it has 86,000 miles it still has the cage in the back seat the spotlight and the rifle rack in the front seat I got it for $600 but it needs a new back bumper. I found the new bumper at annum yard for $70 seems to be a real nice rig

Plastic trim, Vinyl and leather seats need to be protected with age. Tinted windows, Windshield Visor and leather lotion go a long way.

Just picked up mine last weekend for $500. 97 XLT 4x4 5.4 with 278xxx miles, no rust and very well maintained. Need a new torque converter though... Gonna be rebuilding practically the entire drivetrain come tax season.

2007 expedition 137,800 miles for 11,200

Found it at a local used car market, put almost 10k miles on it. Love it, it's an Eddie Bauer 4x4 with everything except heated seats.

I sold my fully loaded, AWD Mountaineer last month for $2,600 (in PA btw) with a clean retail NADA of $3,100. It was in very good shape, but had 233K miles. $3K for that Expy seems fair (though I didn't check NADA).
