Anybody running 24s on a 4x4? Any thoughts on clearance, backspacing, suspension, tire size, etc, would be appreciated. This is my roadtripper, so I don't think I wanna go any bigger... Thanks

He wants to accomplish style to his liking for his truck...nothing wrong with putting 24s or any plus size rims on it...it's not for everyone just like lifting and putting 33s or 35s isn't for everyoneI have a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 with 20" wheels and tires from the factory.
Why would you want to put 24" wheels and tires on your vehicle? What do you hope to accomplish?
I did have 24s...riding 26s now and trying to decide on 28s or 30s...your tires will be 305/35/24...offset as low as +10 to +35...rims can be 24x9.5 or 24x10...upgrade ur brakes and rotors...brakes to ceramic for improved stopping power and reduction in brake dust...rotors to slotted...drilled...or drilled/ slotted rotors...if u have the money entire new brake system with calipers like from wildwood or baer...since u have the 4x4 u may not be able to upgrade the anti sway bars cuz the transfer case...other than that...u should be good to go...Abby other questions just holla at meIsn't Mr. 10k Rollin on 24's? He's the one to ask
Thanks for your wisdom Mr. 10K. It's much appreciated. And to answer Mr. Corvette or whatever his name is- I want to do it so trolls like you have something to talk about. I know it's lonely out there..

That is the con...bending the rims on put holes...larger rims look good and when u get large rims on a car or truck u automatically assume the risk of bending a rim from a pothole...I have 22s on my wife's altima...30 series tires...thin but not riding on the rim thin...the ride is still smooth...u feel the bumps more and they sound harsher than they really are...u feel the grooves in the road and the vehicle like to follow them...u have to always be looking out for potholes so u don't bend a rim but it's all worth it to me...handling improved with the wider wheels believe it or not...they look great...instant visual improvement for any vehicle...it's a must for me...I love them...cleaning and all...it's therapeutic for me...seriously...some ppl like a nice lawn...I like clean rims...and for me I don't believe in putting 26s on a civic or accord like u see on the Internet...I believe in having the largest rim without lifting the car...I'd never put 26so on my wife's car...but many have done it...just bit my styleI have a question for 10K. I have the 20s on my 2011 from the factory and like them. Not much on the really larger sizes for me but do like the look of the really large rim and super low profile tire from time to time.
With such a low profile tire, do they ride rougher? I always thought it would not take much of a pot hole to dent a rim. School me on the pros and cons. Thanks.
