Ok so can anyone tell me which festoon bulbs these are? My lenses separated easily so I am merely replacing the bulbs and recementing the lenses. I also need to know what size festoon bulb is in the cargo area.

You'll get better results replacing the entire unit with the DAYTIME Brightlites. You will not find anything that you can retrofit that is that bright.

I’ve been going back and forth on putting these in. Were they just pop out and throw the new ones in? Molded connectors? My worry is since my truck is all halogen that it would look too white when my headlights and interiors come on when i unlock it. Maybe if i switched to whiter interior lights it would blend in better. Nice rig your running there, i do like the rims.

They only come on when you unlock the door or open the door and the idea is to light up the area around the truck. That way it keeps away bad guys because they don't want more light. :D I think they would fine on your truck but you might like them too much and want to start changing everything over to LEDs. :)

Took me all of 5 minutes to install. Flat head screwdriver to depress the tab on OEM and gently pry outward on housing, DC the two connections, pop the new one back in. Here’s what the connectors on the new ones look like 53E77015-2276-40E6-9B50-B83855F0250C.jpeg
They just slide right on. I wrapped some electrical tape around them as well. And that push tab on the new ones is a lot more sturdy than the old OEM one. I would definitely switch to LED interior ($12 on amazon for a decent set) I did not like the look of puddle lights as halogen with all my other lights LED as shown below:

Much cleaner look with interior LEDs and these new puddle lights
