No progress today. After getting home from the track I ended up redoing the inside of one of my bearded dragon enclosures.

Hitting it hard again tomorrow after class hopefully.

Just got done drilling all my holes and putting the grommets in.

There are just 8 of them here. I'll take pics of them all when I finish vacuuming all the metal shavings out.

Just finished up for today. Got all of the holes drilled and grommets in, and 3 more runs ran. So just 3 more runs to go, I'm running out of places to send the wire down to under the car lol.

I HATE running 0awg. Thankfully the 1st gen Expeditions have plenty of room under the plastic panels to run 0awg power wiring. (Sorry for putting a hole in you, passenger door wire grommet.)

Looking good so far though!

Lol! My amp is a kenwood 1000w max, 500rms and my alternator is 110amp stock if you can take some pics of the big 3 wiring it would be awesome. Thats a whole lot of 0-gauge that has to be a few hundred dollars in wire, and i cant wait to see the finished product

Man I haven't been on in forever. Haven't got too much done as last week was finals week and I had 3 term papers due. I did get back to it today though.:D

I'll get some pics of my big three sometime tomorrow...And ya, I have 200 feet from front to back, I'm gonna double or triple up my big 3, and the runs that will be going to the amps. So in total maybe 250'.

More progress pics uploading.

Ok there have been some changes to the design. Since I took off the door panels, I found a little more room. Found enough width to do a flat wall, which was my original want, so that's the route that I'm going.

Here is the new design

May do the port bracing a little differently, I just don't know if that will be enough lol. I'll probably move that one down and do another one as well.

The sides that look to be hollow will have 2x4's in them. It will be understood better when the box build starts.

There are a couple reasons I decided to go this route instead of the 4th. I feel that I can make this a lot stronger since it gives me more room to work with bracing and such. Also, it was what I had originally wanted to do, but didn't have the room until I took the door panels off.

It was also a lot of fun to design. I have been doing it little by little when I get sick of working on my last paper for school lol. Which thank god as of Wednesday last week is done lol.

Battery tray all done and sitting in my car about where the front of the box will be. I wanted to get them all charging consistently and my dad wanted them outa the garage, so this was really my only option lol. Just means I gotta drag them all back out when I'm putting them in their final place.
