steering wheel phone controls

When my iPhone is plugged into the truck and working through Apple CarPlay I am unable to hang up the phone. When it is only connected via Bluetooth, it's fine.

Thoughts?

What year is your Expedition and what model radio or Sync do you have?

Okay Carl, that's what I have. I will try it tomorrow with car play and see what happens. Do you know what version of the Sync software that you are running?

I have not updated to the latest release, so whatever the most current is prior to a couple weeks ago.

You can end the call using the Sync3 touchscreen. The call should also terminate when the other person hangs up.

Are you using the handsfree function or are you holding the phone?

I know you can do that, then what is the point of the steering wheel controls while the phone is plugged in?? LOL

And handsfree.

Just checked this while on an errand. I can end the call via the steering wheel buttons while in CarPlay.
